WICKLOW DAY TOUR

Wicklow is home to some of the most beautiful sights and attractions.  Powerscourt House & Gardens was Voted No.3 in the World’s Top Ten Gardens by National Geographic and you can see why as you enter the gardens. There is a sublime mixture of formal gardens, terraces, statues to ornamental lakes, secret hallows and rambling walks. From there you have Glencree Valley & Cemetery, home to the military cemetery. For those movie and TV buffs you have photo opportunities at the PS I love you Bridge and The Guinness Lake, which was used in the TV series Vikings. By now you deserve a lunch break and Johnnie Fox’s being Ireland’s highest pub and, as well as serving delicious food, is our choice of destination for you. Our final part of the tour is to Glendalough, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ireland. Positioned in a glaciated valley with two lakes, marvel at the fascinating early Christian settlement founded by Saint Kevin in the 6th century.
